Part-time (2 days per week), Queensland-based role

About Motherland

Motherland is a national charity empowering and connecting rural mums across the country. Our work reduces isolation and improves mental health for women on the land, and we need your help to support our life-changing work through marketing, communications and events.

About the position

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Events Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination and delivery of Motherland’s events portfolio. This includes Motherland-owned events such as the National Conference, community-led events delivered in partnership with hosting committees and volunteers, and community fundraising initiatives that Motherland supports but does not directly deliver.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced events professional who understands the realities of working in a small, fast-moving team. The Events Manager works closely with the wider team and external partners to ensure events are well activated across marketing and communications channels.

This role is remote and must be Queensland-based. Preference will be given to candidates living in regional, rural or remote Queensland.
