Are you a compassionate and empathetic rural/regional mum with a desire to give back to your community?

About the role 

You will be trained to facilitate our online rural mothers group program as well as working with the team to continually enhance the program and increase brand awareness across Australia. This paid contractor role comes with flexible working from home hours (approximately 15-20 hours per 6 week intake with 4 intakes per year), paid training hours and ongoing support from the Motherland management team, group supervision with a registered psychological supervisor and Motherland’s Employee Assistance Program.

Key responsibilities

• You’ll be trained as a Motherland Village facilitator to ensure consistency across the programs, including partaking in required training courses (approx 10 hours initially).
• You’ll be allocated rural mothers groups across four intakes per year pending demand, managing the 6-week online program and facilitating the group video calls.
• You will support the team to ensure continuous improvement and enhancement of the online program by joining six team meetings per intake.
• You’ll help the team by supporting brand awareness ideas and opportunities for Motherland.
• You may also provide the Motherland team with ad hoc operational support if and when required.

Who we’re looking for 

• You’re a mum who resides anywhere in rural or regional Australia. Excellent candidates outside rural Australia will be considered.
• You’re a confident facilitator and/or public speaker and enjoy meeting new people
• You’re personable, compassionate and empathetic with the ability to spark conversations in any situation.
• You’re tech savvy and are experienced with social media and video conferencing. You have (or have access to) a stable internet connection that can handle video conferencing.
• You understand the ups and downs of life on the land and are passionate about supporting the emotional wellbeing of rural mums.
• You are willing to learn and adapt as we constantly improve the online program.
• You preferably have a professional background or relevant expertise.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have been through the Motherland Village program.
