Motherland is Coming to the Channel Country!

We’re heading to Quilpie this October to celebrate the incredible women who call rural Australia home—and you’re invited.

This one-day event is all about you, a heartfelt celebration of the strength that defines rural motherhood. Whether you come for the stories, the laughter, the cuppa, or the community, we promise you’ll leave feeling inspired and supported.

What’s On

We’re thrilled to welcome Paralympic gold medallist and speaker Annabelle Williams OAM as our keynote guest. Annabelle will share her powerful story of perseverance, purpose, and embracing life’s challenges.

The day will also feature a panel discussion hosted by Motherland Founder and CEO Stephanie Trethewey, joined by three remarkable women:

  • Shona Underwood – local artist and grazier

  • Diane Dowrick – RFDS Flight Nurse and Channel Country Ladies Day President

  • Tash Johnston – Founder of Farm Angels

This is your chance to connect, reflect, and be part of something bigger.

Tickets are $50 and include:

  • A welcome drink on arrival
